Fifi and a small boy

OK, I give in! Just found this on the camera, after having given Dominik lessons in picking up cats, he obliged . . . as did Fifi who really is incredibly patient with him

Thanks Kay. As she's getting older the lilac and the cream are becoming far more distinct - they were much more blended when she was younger.

Re: Fifi and a small boy

What a lovely pic, Yola! Domi is such a handsome little fella, he'll be a heartbreaker when he's older! And Fifi was so patient with him, wasn't she? Cats will really put up with things from children they wouldn't tolerate from adults! I've mentioned the bad-tempered cat next door when I was about 5 who let me lug him around with nary a hiss or scratch.....

They do become distinct with age but she is still mingled not patched which is how a lilac-cream and blue-cream should be. Whereas the tortoiseshell and Cocolate-Tortie should be patched. Weird when they are all torties

Re: Fifi and a small boy

Yes, Eileen. Fifi is SO tollerant with Dominik and also Sebastian who has pulled her ears, whiskers, fur and tail. She NEVER retaliates she simply moves out of the way ever so slightly if they are bothering her.

I'm always very careful to ensure that they don't hurt the cats, and tbh, Dominik has total respect for both Fifi and Balie and is very mindful not to hurt them when picking them (well, Fi - coz Balie will only just about let himself be stroked).

And yes, he's a boy with the most amazing bone structure. He really has managed to get what little alpha genes there are swilling around in OH and me and make the most of them. Thing is, he's a really lovely kid with it - we are very lucky with him!

Re: Fifi and a small boy

Oh what a wonderful picture! And Fifi looks huge next to Dom. I adore his hair! My wee lad has a natural curl like me but my mum, (the overbrearing nan, who having raised 3 children obviously knows best!), tells me off if I let it grow out! No wonder men do a runner, she'd be an evil MIL!

Mine are pretty tolerant with kids too now I think about it, much more than they are with me anyway!

No I have good cats really, they live with 3 rowdy dogs so they have to be tolerant really!

Thanx for sharing Yola, it's a cracker of a pic.
