Did I mention the newt man on here? I don't remember that Oh well, he came with the newt lady and they sat and watched the pond and didn't find any newts. But are coming back Tue to stay from 10pm - midnight as they have to look at dusk and dark to check properly. They had some very technical kit with them.

Because the Breeding Centre is going to be knocked down and rebuilt The conservation / newt man had to check for (are they great crested newts) ? newts as they are a protected species before the rebuild can commence.
