Monday musings.Good morning all. As I said no work till Wed then through to Saturday night - and by then it will be the rundown to Christmas week....  ...scared I should be.... Been out with Sal who is fast loosing her title as "poorly dog"  as she tried to shoot off after a crow this morning...."Ahem Hello" was my response to that which brought her straight back may root out her holiday extending lead for a bit so I can curtail her craziness. Brought the paper back with me had comments on my lovely Christmas lights. I may have been talked into a helping with a Christmas meal for those needing a little help. May well do that even if I just peel potatoes. Did a night walk a few years ago before my hysterectomy where you offer warm drinks/socks/hats etc to homeless people. May do that too. Weather here is cold but crisp. Got to try and finish the lights outside the front and hope the rain stays off, Mom is at the hospital to have ther gullet widened again. Hopefuly she may be able to eat a bit more then. See you all at the quiz tonight. I am going to write some Christmas card while waiting for Mom at the hospital. Think we need a picture of you're lights Going to take the dogs out soon, then it's off to tesco for food. I have a list of jobs today, one being to get some cards written and posted. |

Morning Kazz, Shelley and all to come later. Lovely bright sunny day here, crisp and cold. Why couldn't it have been like this yesterday for our agility Christmas "do"? We took some vids and OH is tinkering with them - the one of Monty hopefully I will post when he's edited it! We've already had our grocery delivery - and now actually have most of our provisions for Christmas apart from perishables. Some housework this week and card writing - that's our agenda. Another doggy party tomorrow evening ..... Monty has more social engagements than we do! See you all for the quiz at 8.30. Have a good day everyone. |

Kazz I'm exhausted just reading what you get get up to- it's a lovely idea to help out others with a meal. Hope you got your jobs done Shelley. Monty sounds a busy lad Angie! Busy weekend here as we went over to see my parents- Mum hasn't been too well and the strain is starting to tell on Dad who is caring for her. Mum's temper has never been the best.....! It's been a nice, clear day here but cold! Our way of telling how cold it is in the mornings is to check where Smudge has ended up. If we wake up and there is a fluffy tail swishing between us then it's going to be a old one! |
