Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

How old is the kitten in the photo?
Maybe someone has some pics of ragdoll kittens at a similar age so you could compare?
Can you ask to see photos of the parents?

I'd say go with your gut instinct, I'm paying £200 for Ziggy, she is pedigree but unregistered as the whole litter were born with tails. Registered show quality manx kittens sell for £500 but as the breed standard states no tail she hasnt bothered registering the litter and is therefore able to sell the kittens cheaper.

I think £200 is fair as she has been vax'd etc, comes with a goody bag and 6 weeks free insurance, I think most *reputable* breeders provide these things as basics. If the person selling this kitten is worth their salt they wont mind sending more pics and answering any questions

I thought Ragdolls were colourpointed? Never seen a solid coloured one. Looks very young too, any breeder that was decent would wait 12wks, doesnt look 12wks to me.

Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

That kitten was certainly not born white, that much is for sure...

And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's less worthy if she's indeed not a pedigree. I've never had, and never plan to have, a pedigree. But if you're going to pay pedigree prices then I'd hope you're getting what you're paying for.

It says on there that all Ragdolls are colour pointed.
Category:
Pointed

All Ragdoll cats must be pointed cats with blue eyes to be acknowledged for championship competition.

Divisions: (all Ragdolls must be pointed)
