It is considered forum etiquette not to mention other boards/members of other boards/what members of these boards have said/done on other boards..

I agree DM-CP seems such a battle field sometimes

Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

It is slightly strange though isnt it, I did see the posts where she claims to be having the kitten, and where she not so long back was advertising for "female Persians" and a "tiny" dog! maybe she will clarify things and the thread can be put to bed.

As far as I am concerned, there is nothing to clarify. Carly is not answerable to any of us here. What she chooses or does not choose to do is her business and she does not have to 'consult' us

This is CJ's thread and I fear it is getting far too personal....

Quite agree Mags.

Now Carly has already requested twice that this thread be finished. As she is the original poster we should respect that request and leave it alone.

Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

If anyone has any issues with CJ - please stay away from her threads, regardless of whether you think she is doing the wrong thing.

Normally on a forum, if someone posts something anyone can take part in the discussion, but as it's clear some people don't like CJ, it's just best if they just stay off her threads.

If people want to 'educate' others about cat-related issues then their energies would be better off channelled into writing articles. Take a look at this one for example on Dogweb: http://www.dogweb.co.uk/dog-articles.php?t=12589 it has been read almost 3,000 times to date!!

You'll get no where bashing people over the head, but a well written article that makes people think does much much more.

Not saying anyone in particular is in the wrong or needs educating here mind (actually we all need educating on a number of different things because nobody knows everything there is to know about everything cat related or otherwise) so helpful articles written in a non-condescending manner are the best route.

This thread will be deleted - and it's the last time I want to see people who don't like CJ to participate in _any_ of her threads.
