Thanks for posting that link Eileen. I find that list really unexpected .... what about Florida, although I suppose there must be cooling from the Atlantic. The article does mention humidity but not relatively - I would have thought Arizona would be very dry in comparison with D.C.

My OH suffers in the heat, but it is actually the humidity that he can't stand. I remember having a holiday in Spain and Gibraltar many years ago - that was hot but not sticky.

Interesting I would have thought Floria or Miami would be in there but obviously not.
