Re: Silent Saturday

I'm just back from Glasgow. Attended my grans funeral yesterday , was hard, but she's at peace at last, and so glad I got to say goodbye properly. Absolutely shattered now, so off to bed shortly xx

Re: Silent Saturday

Thoughts are with you alexgirl73.

Pics Tink - can't believe you've waited 4 yrs.

MrsH - busy busy - put me to shame!

angieh - I have a sister that does that, so annoying isn't it.

Hope you feel better DM, and Leia.

Kazz and PL - hope you both enjoy your evenings.

Today I've cleaned out the chooks, replenished food and water - poor souls had to wait for me to break the ice. I made a nice warm mash for them which they all seemed to enjoy (they say thanks for the suggestion angieh )

Then I took the wee silkie hen that I had rescued to a friend who was able to give HIM a home. He started to crow last week!! Apparently they are difficult to sex.

Then we went to a sheep sale about two hours away, stopped off on the way home for a meal, got home, walked dogs and watched X factor (Joe to win!)

Re: Silent Saturday

Finished off the christmas shopping today. Expected it to be heaving, but got a parking place straight away and the shops weren't to crowded. Bought some nice things and got a great dinner from the M&S 2 eat for £10 range - yummy.

Kazz - hope you have a lovely time

Alex - so sorry to hear about your gran ((hugs))

DM & Leia, hope you feel better soon
