That was such a nice thing to do, poor little doggy. A similar thing happened to me some years ago in Glasgow. The poor dog was turning in circles in the middle of the road and people were honking their horns at the poor frightened creature. I did the same as you and called the dog over while my friend stopped the traffic. We got him in the car, knocked on doors in the neighborhood, eventually took the dog to the police station and they were very unkind and said the dog would be pts if not claimed in 3 days. I felt I had no choice but to take the dog back to Aberdeen with me. Nicknamed the dog DizzyJoe and with the help of a dog rescue he was successfully rehomed within a very short time. Have some pangs of guilt incase the poor thing was very sadly missed by its owners but couldnt risk it being pts. |

something simliar like that happened when i was about 10 we found a yorkie terrier in the middle of a busy road my dad slammed on the breaks and ran in to the middle of the road picked her up and we took her home rang the police said the same thing so we kept her, was the best yorkie terrier ever! we named her penny! she hated men apart from my brother and of course my dad she was really attached to my dad  sadly she pasted about 6 years after. I still miss her! |

omg  just found a dog on the park this is spooky! found a gentle old dog was a lady was in good coundtion think she may have just wondered off and got lost dog warden has taken her away to manchester dogs home awww she was lovely! |
