Hooray it's Friday.

My my arnt the weeks flying by? Anyway its damp but mild here and Merlin is not impressed on getting Wet. Belle is more hardy being a girl but Merlin does protest, typical boy I guess

Off to Anglesey to see a friend for lunch and for our little ones to play. Need to do a few jobs when I get back and walk Milo, cook tea and then get a spend time with hubby tonight who has been on nights.

I do believe it could be the final of I'm a celeb too

Yola - how's the sickness in your house between human and cat? Hope things are improving.

Hope all peeps and animals are fine and dandy.

Re: Hooray it's Friday.

Morning Matron morning all
Cold and damp here this morning,it was freezing last night so I had by puppys up in the bedroom with me (my rooms the warmest and the radiator in the kitchen where they usually sleep is broke so they get not heat in there at the moment) the deal was that they slept on the fleece blanket on bottom of the bed, they had other plans I woke up at about 3 to choc lay the one side of me (under the quilt!!) sprawled out with his paws digging in my back, and Lil was lay the other side of my all curled up (under quilt). I didnt move them, they were so cosy and plus they were my little hot water bottles
Jerry isnt at all impressed that the dogs slept in "his" bed last night Hes not spoke to me since I got up
Anyway off out to work soon and thats it for me today.
Hope you all have a good day and all poorly people and pets and feeling better xx

Re: Hooray it's Friday.

Usual Friday at home for me. It feels like I've not really been at work for ages what with having most of last week off too. Matron, thanks for asking - we're slowly returning to normal. OH still have a bad cough, my tum's still a little up and down and Sebi too is on the mend. Cats are on the whole OK . . . I just need a dining room floor now and all will be back to normal.

Not much on today, need to trot into town with junior to get a prescription for his formula and a few more bits for Christmas. Mainly gifts for the boys' teachers, our staff etc. I have decided that this year OH can sort presents out for his own family members himself. Seeing as I've not once had any thanks for it in all the years I've been buying for his kids, his Mum etc.

Had a great meeting with a prospective client yesterday . . . looks like I might get all her copywriting as well as website design, PR and marketing work! She makes hand-made spelt biscuits . . . not only very yummy but a great fledgling brand to be working on!!

My day off today, its sunny and cold here. Not got much planned for today apart from carrying on putting the xmas decs up.
We put the tree up last night and later on I thought... the tree looks weird!! So now I think we need to take all the decorations off it and turn the tree round pffft. Nightmare!

Re: Hooray it's Friday.

Good morning - it's a nice one here, after another wild wet night. If we've got to have rotten weather it's much better that it comes at night. We've had a lot of rain - the river is really high.

Been to town for the weekend comestibles and also to the grand Woolworth 50% sale. It was heaving! Poor Woolies, I think this may be a prelude to it finally going down the pan.

No frog related incidents today - maybe you're right and I should have ventured a kiss. But, as they say, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince, and I've already got mine!

Lovely clear blue sky and sunshine here, a bit on the nippy side but that suits me..

All the morning house chores are completed, will have a bite to eat shortly then have to make a coffee sponge for the weekend and a bit more present wrapping.

Have a good day and weekend all!

Re: Hooray it's Friday.

Greetings from very cold Washington...the cold front came thru and it's now warmed up a bit to 0C and -3 wind chill! Most unseasonable, but at least the sun is shining. Leia took one sniff of the frigid air when she asked for the porch door to be opened and promptly made a mad dash to the radiator...a wuss about cold weather just like her mom! To the bank and market, thinking of soup for dinner. And must finally work on those cards, just cannot get started ....

Hope all the poorly people and pusses improve ........ stay warm!
