Thankyou everyone. I know we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. As for the dogs.....The English Springer is Zack, he is ten years old, nasty arthritis due to a bone problem, but thanks to glucosamine still acts like a pup!!! The liver and white GSP is Isla, almost three years old and the black GSP is Murphy, 4 1/2 years old. They don't work 'officially' but they certainly know how to, Isla is particularly good in the field, and she and Murphy are great to watch, they seem to work as a team. Also if they are working in the undergrowth and 'point' Zack then goes in to flush. It definitely makes me think there is some form of communication goes on between the 3 of them! |
