Re: Haworth Christmas market

Thanks so much for posting those great photos Shelley. I the apothecary's cat.

Is that the parsonage? I suppose it might have been extended ...... is it open to the public? (Just looks larger than I supposed!)

You look a mite cold there Shelley - where's your woolly hat??? Great scarf!

Oh great pics, feel as if I've been there! Love the one of Malaika looking at the horse, and the Apothecary cat! What's The Souk - a pub? Thanks for sharing those ...

Re: Haworth Christmas market

Angie, yes it's the parsonage and it is open to the public. It costs about £6.00 to go in and is very atmospheric.
Isn't the Cat fabulous, you can't realy tell how big he is there but he was enormous, i instantly fell in love.

Re: Haworth Christmas market

Eileen, the Souk is a vintage clothing, jewellry, accessory shop, it's just crammed with items. The building used to be a toy museum.
We went in the Blackbull pub where the Bronte brother Branwell drank before stumbling to the apothecary for his Laudanum which unfortunately killed him at the early age of 31 years.
In years gone by Haworth was a realy unhealthy place to live, the graveyard is full of people that met early deaths.
