Re: I'm going to Ireland next week

Cork.

The travel arrangements are not great, but we are collecting puppies so it has to fit around them. I have a meeting at work on Wed that I really must attend, so can't leave until 2pm Wed. Which means driving 4 hours to the ferry port, then 3-4 hours on the ferry - then it will be 1am when we arrive in Dublin. Heads down for a kip, then up early to drive another 3 and half hours to Cork. Staying there thursday and then a long drive home Friday with some puppy dogs in tow Arriving back in Warwick at 11pm Friday

That's some journey. Hope the Irish Sea is calm for you and for you and the puppies on return.

Just remember Irish miles are longer than UK ones - although now they are part of the EU they may have converted to kilometres.

Ireland is lovely, but wet!! That's quite a hectic schedule you've got there; still, it's more exciting when things are going at a pace.
