Open garden visit

Well went to visit the open garden today these are a few pictures....it was densely planted even by my standards....gorgeous but HIGH high maintenance
The day was cloudy and threatening rain all the time so much so the chap was offering golfing umberellas as you entered. but the rain held off.

Three sections well 4 with patio. Patio, garden/grass area; jungle complete with sound track of birds etc water feature and planting to suit....

Walk through with view...

Hand built ......

From the garden to the house....

From house looking right....

From house looking left...

One of about 4 bridges, at least I think there were 4 I saw....

Showing the paths....hand laid.......

A surprise round every corner....made me look twice.......

Well I did sort of I know it confirmed my recent change of heart to none high care.

The garden was uperb but totaly unrealistic with my small space........yet I think anything of that size would take over my life...........you would be paranoid about not leting it get to over run as with no time at all I imagine it would become unruley.

And it had grass and I do not have grass or a big enough space to divide "into rooms" you cannot see so you have to take in all of it from my back step or back gate.?

But always nice not to be planting but to be viewing......

Looks fabulous. It does look as though it requires a great deal of work to keep it that way - and time.

The colours look so nice. Glad it stayed dry.

Stunning, but definitely dense and very high maintenance. I wonder how many gardeners they employ?
