Jan, I think we've all heard similar - well maybe not quite so horrific, but nasty animal cruelty stories all the same, and anyone with any compassion or humanity would react exactly like you did. Rant all you want to!

I'm just having to write a warning CP press release today (in conjunction with my PCSO friend), about local cat killing and mutilation . . . it makes me feel sick even writing about it . . . poor cats

About a pet cat that was eaten by a neighbouring python. There is a link to a petition on the Downing Street (Number 10) website to have pythons classified as dangerous pets.

Why do people think it is okay to cause pain and misery to any living thing, if they do not have the decency to provide love and protection required they should at least have the gumption to give the poor animal to some one that will. Banning these people from owning animals doesn't work they should have inflicted on them what they do to the animal maybe then they would have more respect!
