Snow thread..

What's the snow situation like where you live?

Yesterdays snow seemed to be melting away, but it's snowing really heavy here again now, huge flakes, not so good travelling on the motorways today, but all the traffic seemed to be driving carefully. they say the Midlands & South Wales are having it pretty bad.

Re: Snow thread..

Some parts of Yorkshire are quite badly affected. We have had a lot of very 'wet' snow since this afternoon bt since it is still very wet here not much of it has settled..

Re: Snow thread..

It snowed really heavily here again this afternoon and settled. I got to come home early from work just in case we were going to get stranded there!!
The roads aren't too bad here - more wet than snow covered.
Pretty to look at when you're inside a nice centrally heated house though!! lol

Re: Snow thread..

We planned on driving back to Gloucestershire today, but ended up getting stuck in Swansea! The roads were really bad and gridlocked too. We couldnt even get to the mainroad. We decided to turn back, but couldnt park in our carpark in Swansea because its on a slope. We had to leave the poor car on the roadside.

Snowed heavily wednesday night and yesterday and didn't clear at all. Froze overnight and heavy snow again today and I live in a city

Have supplies in house and not leaving unless necessary now as below freezing today so snow falling, laying and freezing
