Election Saturday,

Good morning Pamela ,Shelley and anyone else who may look in. Saturday evening here and I'm watching the elections on TV. So far, Labour is winning over National but it's early yet.My cousin came round today and we had pizza for lunch, followed by chocolate chip muffins. She brought her Golden Retriever, Cinder, with her and she lay on Willow's bed by my chair and just stared up at me. After they left, I started crying again, but i was glad to have had a dog in the house again. The cats were not happy though.

I'm feeling a bit queasy tonight as I'm taking anti-inflammatories per the specialist's instructions, to reduce swelling around the disc in my back. I really don't want to take them but he says I must, so I'm following his advice. The physio visit yesterday went well and I've been given some exercises to do before going back next week.

PAMELA, I'm sorry your dad was upset the other day. It must be very hard for him, especially at night. I hope he managed to have a decent birthday though AND I'm pleased you were able to have a decent sleep to make up for your broken sleep the night before. That Southern Comfort must have done the trick.Good on you for going out running again with your friend. It will do you good to get away from everything and be out in the fresh air. Sorry that Harris is a bit of a bully with poor Skye. Perhaps he and Freddie should go flatting together. ! I doubt if Harris would be as much of a bully as Freddie though. Dickens life is so miserable at the moment and he slinks around looking really nervous. I don't know why things have got so bad at the moment.

SHELLEY,hope you're not too busy at work. That online social media makaton group sounds fantastic and will give you plenty of practice. Have you heard anything from Eric ? I guess you haven't been able to see the young swans lately.. They'll be getting really big now.I do hope you have got some positive news about your dolls now and that they are on their way back to you .It is so disappointing when things don't turn up. At least they haven't got lost in the mail so I guess that's something.

Well folks, I'm going to go and watch the rest of the election. Looks as if Labour has won a landslide victory, which is great. Have a good Saturday everyone and I hope the sun shines for you all.
