Eye Cleaning Lotions

I bought some Pretty Eyes cleaning lotion for Teddy as being an exotic his eyes do need cleaning now and then. I wont be using it again as this morning he woke up with really gunky eyes, and this hasn't happened since I first got him and had to get eye cream from the vets. I put some eye cream on him this morning and it seems to have cleared. Has anyone else had problems using this type of product or is it just another one of Teddys sensitivites?

Ps It is for dogs but does say suitable for use on cats and small animals.

Re: Eye Cleaning Lotions

Will be sticking to warm water with Teddy from now on. I had only been using that anyway, but he had some quite dark staining from when we first got him and it was being really stubborn to shift, so I though I would give the lotion a go!
