Re: Tilly has been hospitalised

Tilly will be 10 on the 1st of may. I am hoping she doesn't have anything too bad, the vet said she may have a liver probelm that might be causing this (I think he said something like hepetitis but I am not sure) which is treatable. But I am awaiting a call to let me know how she is doing and I am trying to remain posotive until I know anything for sure.

Re: Tilly has been hospitalised

Tilly's blood test has come back. Her liver is fine and her kidney show slightly elevate levels but that is probably because she is dehydrated. But nothing showed up on then to explain the vomiting. She has eaten some senstivity diet and has been having lots of love. She has also not been sick but that might be because she had an anti-sickness injection. She is staying in over night and will be having some x-rays in the morning. The vets have also put her on a drip so her kidneys should be OK now.

That all I knwo for now but I am going to call again in the morning for an update so I will keep you all updated.

Thanks for the kind messages and support it is a great help.

Sally

Re: Tilly has been hospitalised

I'm so glad that she's eaten a little and not been sick; sounds encouraging. Hope all goes well with the x-rays tomorrow, and that she'll soon be home; 10 isn't old! Still sending healing vibes .....

Re: Tilly has been hospitalised

Just got off the phone to the vets and Tilly has had a settled night and is doing very well. She has not been sick and has eaten some more food which is good.
They are going to keep her in for a few more days to see how she goes and they are still going to takew some x-rays. I should hear the results from them later.
