Saturday daily.

Good morning ladies,
Saturday 5.45pm here and it's been a very hot day - around 26 degrees. I've got the air con set at 18 degrees here in the lounge for the cats ,as they have been looking miserable. Humidity levels are very high too, and it's not helping my sinus. I've just spent the day at home, feeling sick with these pills. My heart beat is still very erratic, but the specialist has again told me to increase the dose of medication and give it a few days for my heart to adjust. Hopefully he knows what he's talking about.I'm definitely not as light headed today though, but still don't feel like eating anything. Janna is at work today until 7pm and until 4.30pm tomorrow. She'll be busy both days as the Armageddon Festival is on there. I hope she gets a chance to look in on it on one of her breaks.Just going to have toast and a piece of kumara tonight for tea and Janna can have a frozen meal from the freezer or get a takeaway.

SHELLEY, gosh, I'm sorry you've been so unwell. Thank goodness you were able to actually see your doctor and get some antibiotics. Hopefully you'll be able to get another course if you need it. The antibiotics will still be in your system once you finish the course, so perhaps you won't need any more.Sore throats are horrible. and so painful. I do hope you feel a lot better soon. How super that you now have your book copies but sad that you've been too unwell to check them Hopefully you will be able to do so soon. I'm pleased both your boys will have a copy ,Shelley. What a wonderful legacy to your Great Aunt The youngish Basenji doesn't live across the road, but belongs to a family member of the new owner of the house. Yes, I hate seeing dogs loose on the street, even if their owners are close by. and especially as you say, the Basenjis have such a high prey drive. , even seeing vehicles as prey. That's amazing. I'm going to tell them that (nicely) when they visit again, as we get lots of traffic here.

PAMELA, I hope you and Steven are both OK and looking forward to Christmas. I bet that tree of yours is up now and looking lovely. I hope all your fur babies are doing well and Robyn is going ahead in leaps and bounds with her training. I also hope your work is going well. You'll be breaking up for Christmas soon, which will be lovely. Hope Steven really likes that new job also.

Well ladies, going to have my tea now and try and relax a bit. Hope it gets a bit cooler tonight, as it's really far too hot to sleep.

Have a fantastic weekend, ladies.

Re: Saturday daily.

Good morning ladies,

Sorry i havent been about, just busy with work and trying to keep on top of Robyn and just the usual life stuff!!

Dinky, i do hope your medication starts working soon and stops the side effects that you are having. What is the Armageddon festival? sounds good! Did Janna enjoy the work night out? Mine was on Thursday night and it was ok but i asked Steven to pick me up at 11pm as i was working yesterday and everyone was getting a bit drunk which i couldnt be bothered with. Have jack and Vera still been visiting? How are the cats all doing? I hope they are all well

Shelley, sorry to hear you have been poorly, i hope the antibiotics are working for you. You must be excited about your book. Im sure the family you have bought the copies for will really like it. Do you have anymore doll fayres before christmas?

Ive just been busy working and looking after the pets both during and after work so not had much time to do much else to be honest. It really does tire me at times having all of them around as it can be quite stressful with 2 of them being full on constantly during the day. I actually quite enjoy being in the office and getting away from the house although i do worry about getting back for them as they are in for around 5hours after the dog walker leaves as my work arent being very accommodating with my hours although they said they would be. I am looking at giving up my day off and going back to standard 8hour days as it means i can start much earlier and finish earlier which would be better for the days i am in the office but the long days are also quite hard and not enjoying doing as many hours. My day off is really just going to my dads for a few hours then home so not actually very productive. If i go back to 5 days, i should be able to finish at 330pm at the latest which still gives me loads of time after to do things especially in the summer. I really think it will be the better option.

Shelley i am the same with my lot, they dont get off lead unless in a secure field which i think we are booking for today as Robyn needs to burn off some energy. It is -4 here just now though so will see what happens!!

Got some christmas shopping to do which i think is the last thing. My Sister in law finally gave me ideas for my 6yr old niece so that will be the last family gift. Steven hasnt even started his shopping. I am done and just need to wrap it.

I have been invited along to a dog meet with my snuffle mats today and tomorrow so i may go along tomorrow and see if anyone would like a christmas present for the dogs

Have a great weekend ladies

Hi ladies,
Pamela you sound stressed, this time of the year although lovely adds to it.
It's a shame your work aren't honouring what they said.
Well done getting all your shopping done.
I hope you enjoy the doggy meet up tomorrow.
Dinky, rather worrying that the consultant says to up the dose when it's already making you feel so bad.
Yes Basenjis are notorious near roads, people think they are OK because they have put the training in.
They are OK until they're not.
Ventured out today and started the Christmas shopping.
We didn't take the dogs but went in a nice cafe that welcomes dogs with open arms.
