Another cat to join the family.

We have another cat coming to stay on the 18th. She us a feisty, ginger girl with mammary tumours. Her owner cannot keep her as her fiancée has turned out to be extremely allergic to her, which only became evident when the moved in together.
Sadly it appears the because she was san indoor cat and her owner did not want to put her through an op, she wasn't neutered until she had a pyometra. I guess this has also contributed to the cancer too.
She has already had tumours removed, but more have appeared. We are taking her and will talk to our vets, we will do all we can to save her, but if there is nothing we else we can do we will keep her comfortable, at the moment she us very bright and well. Her owner is going to pay for her food and insurance so that's good news.

Oh that's so sad. I don't know how you can do it, farthing; that poor girl ... At least she'll be loved and cared for with you during her time left.

Bless her..
You were certainly in the right place at the the right time to take her on farthing. She's a lucky lady in that respect, a very lucky girl to have you step in and ensure that the remainder of her life is as comfortable as possible. Well done farthing, and please give her gentle hugs from me when she arrives in her forever home.. if she'll let you, bless her.

Well, Molly is here, she is very unusual- very dark ginger, small, short haired but with a broad Persian looking face. Just hiding at the moment but looks a pretty girl- just hope she settles and is happy!

Well, I looks like Molly may have behavioural problems as well as health problems- having read the summary of her vet notes she is one of these unpredictable attackers!

Yes, she has turned while I was petting her and had a bit more of a go at Mike. I think she may be better with women. I do think she will settle, but I don't think she will be fully trustworthy.
