All's reasonably well so far, Angie, rain and winds not quite as horriffic as forecast, but still a thoroughly nasty day...over 3" rain already.....some flooding in the Southeast quadrant of the City, and in Alexandria, which always floods...supposed to taper off a bit around 8 pm. Flooding not a problem in my part of town; on high ground. Could have been worse.....

Evening - Do feel for all these folks in Wales. Seen some coverage on early evening news. It must be awful. Glad you escaped it PP.

Glad you didn't get it too bad DM.

We have had a glorious day today. Although windy was warm and dry. Hope it stays dry overnight so we can get grass cut tomorrow.
