Monopoly and Scrabble! Occasional chess with Dad, but neither of us was very good at it...
We were more a card game family...Canasta, gin rummy and poker.

A great family favourite here is Sorry, anyone else know it? It's based on Ludo but you draw cards to determine the moves and you can ambush the other players, move backwards and swap places. I was given this game when I was young and 48 years later it's still going strong although the box is looking a bit tatty.

Yes, we used to play it when we were young - great game, wonder if you can still buy it.

I might have a look round for "Sorry", that would be a good idea for Katie and Jamie for Christmas ........ I find that some of today's games aren't nearly as good as some of the ones from year's ago... fingers crossed they still sell it!
