Cute. I thought it might be the retractable metallic measuring tape that zips quickly and noisily into it's case and cats love!

I'm really not sure as his past is a mystery and I can only venture a guess. At first I guessed chocolate point Siamese mix (he's certainly a mutt) but he is a solid boy with a VERY thick coat--when you comb him, the comb goes at least a good inch or inch and ahalf down in some spots. His coat looks short in appearance but compared to my girls it is very, very thick. I too have wondered about Birman, especially because of the paws..and someone suggested to me he had some Himilayan because of body structure but I just don't know. There's certainly tabby in there as you can see faint stripes in his tail in the sun so maybe he just had a solid tabby dad? I have no idea as I've always had moggies and am pretty confused with things like that and all the breeds that look similar with Siamese. He certainly is very, very vocal though and outgoing!!

Re: Kitties & Measuring Tape

Tabby markings in the tail is common in the Ragdoll breed. My full Redpoint Ragdoll has them. He quite possibly could be a chocolate sealpoint ragdoll. They are very similar to Birmans. Muffins coat is incredibly thick!
