Re: Sneezing lots

Oh no.

Well yes you have reason for concern. When you say a lot,

how often / how many times?
any nasal discharge?
any eye discharge?
redness of the eyes?
swollen conjunctiva?

Re: Sneezing lots

Oli kept sneezing when I first got him and his eyes were all runny. I took him to the vets to have confirmed that he had cat flu.

I suggest if you have any concerns, you take your new kitten to the vets right away.

I noticed Oli's symptoms the day after I got him, so took him to the vet right away. He was checked over by the vet and was given a jab. I was also told to keep him warm and indoors.

He is now fine, although some days his one eye goes a bit gunky.

Goodluck with the new kitty. x

Re: Sneezing lots

Yes, I'd be concerned. As Smudgley has indicated are there any other symptoms?

Re: Sneezing lots

What cat litter do you use?? and what did the breeder use? Is there a chance that the litter you use is a lot more dusty? Just plucking at straws....

Re: Sneezing lots

Is Catsan a relatively dusty litter? Just a thought but I know my Meezers are very sensitive with dusty litter. I use a recyled newspaper pelleted litter, absolutely no dust at all and no sneezy cats
