Yola is nice and unusual.......Although like Mags, wouldn't even try to pronounce your surname or spell it...

Thankfully that was my maiden surname . . . now have a nice English name that doesn't result in blank or embarrassed looks

Yola is pronounce like the yo in yoghurt . . .

And Mags . . . is that short for Margaret or Magdalen?

Mags I think it's a really pretty name . . .

Margaret in Polish is Malgosia (with a diagonal line across the 'l' - which my keyboard doesn't have) making it pronounce, Mawgoshja. It was always a name I liked

Yola is a very nice name, its my grandmothers who is also Polish, i was glad that my father had not been given her last name which in turn would have been passed onto me, Zsusbanski

i aint even gonna try to pronounce that name as i allways end up getting tounge tied

My name isn't too bad, i could think of worse names to be called

Patricia is Patrizia, but the z is not like in zero; more like a ts; quite like the German pronounciation.

Luke - cool that you have Polish ancestry, and Luke is such a nice, strong name. Zsusbanski - is pronouced Schusbaynski. It's quite an unusual name; even by Polish standards

I don't mind my name getting shortened to Nae so long as nobody says 'Nnneeiighhh' at me. The last person who did to that me got a smack in the gob
