Forgot to say that she is still on that too Eileen! The thing is that these things all seem to help somewhat, though in all the time she has been on them now, she has only done one or two 'normal' poos, the rest of the time they are still very soft, but obviously not running out of her all the time. It is just impossible to keep her on it all long term. If you want fran I can send you some of the Diar-eze to try with Porsha! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

To go back to Alex's original question - I don't think there are long term medical implications to either Canikur or probiotics, neither have very much in the way of *drugs* in them, but your vet will no doubt give you professional advice.
