Cat needs good vibes!

You may remember my mentioning Carolyn's cat, Kate. She's a 16 year old brown mackerel tabby who's been doing well on thyroid medication for quite some years now. She hasn't been as well as usual, so was taken to the vet, who said her kidney numbers are extremely high! Don't have exact figures, Carolyn was too upset when she called me to go into detail. Kate has to go in for subcutaneous fluids. I'd appreciate it if you would send good vibes for this little girl....here she is....

I have catsat for Kate since she was a tiny kitten, so am pretty upset about this...thanks all for your thoughts.....

Of course Eileen - wishing Kate all the very best and hoping Carolyn (and you) don't get too upset what turns out to be her health 'blip'.

Re: Cat needs good vibes!

Thank you very, very much! I did some reading last night on renal failure, and was shocked to learn that the thyroid medication can ultimately contribute to it.....
