sneezing.... is it normal?

Ive noticed now that for the past few weeks keanu has been sneezing. Its probably only like 2 or 3 times a day, but its everyday.
should i be worrying? At first i thought it might be dust in his nose, but everyday?

It could just be an allergy. Some cats do have dust allergies, or allergies to cleaning products, pollen etc.

Does he have any other symptoms? Runny nose? Gunky eyes?

Soem cats just do sneeze more than others. I have one that does it daily - usually straight into my face 1st thing in the morning

But if you do have any concerns or if it's persistent and accompanied by the other symptoms mentioned - or excessive tiredness/lethargy, then I'd get Keanu vet-checked just for your own peace of mind.

everything else seems normal. he seems his normal energetic self. glad its probably nothing.

I agree - some do it lots, some hardly at all.
Which reminds me - which comedian was it who was talking of cats and said 'have you noticed, when your cat sneezes it's always suprised - like it's never done it before, or seen it before?' Might be the late Linda Smith. Very good observation, anyway.

What cat litter are you using Jenny? One of mine sneezes after using gravel litter but is ok with the wood based stuff..just a thought

Teddie sneezes all the time, and as Yola says, usually all over me, lol! I know it's quite common in flat face breeds but unsure about bengals. But as long as he is ok in himself I wouldn't worry too much!

Dandy (Pura) used to get a regular sneezing spell twice a year, Spring and late Autumn; sneezed and would be off his feed and not his bouncy self for about 2-3 days, and then just bounced back; think it was a seasonal allergy of some sort. He was a great lap sitter and when people came over I used to hand them a kleenex so he wouldn't sneeze on them. This went on for 14 years!

If Keanu appears himself, energetic, playful and of course eating and drinking as normal I wouldn't worry. My Angel sneezes every single day and always has and she is fine.
