The Puissance is my favourite show jumping event. I always fancied having ago. Most I have jumped is almost 5ft

5ft! Good grief, that's still way to high for my liking. Raechel can't wait to jump that high (I'll be covering my eyes at that point).

I was lucky, my mare was very brave. I pointed her at the fence, then closed my eyes whilst she took me over it

No, Harvey has retired although for some reason I was under the impression he was riding in this competition I only saw the last few minutes Mags, maybe Kazz can help out with the 'Oliver' person?

There was an Alan Oliver who rode in the late 50's 60's maybe early 70's don't recall him though.
But there was also Oliver Skeet the chap with the drealocks remember him????

There was John Whitaker, Harvey Smith, David Broom, Robert Smith too I think and some forgeign riders whocan't think now will try,

Yes him, I liked him and the wonderful "Deister" super horse, other favourites of mine were:
Ryans Son
Milton
Jungle Bunny (loved his kicking legs)
Tigre, lovely grey ridden by Pat Symthe I think.
