Oh I agree 100%, it's a "problem" we've made by our own uncontrolled breeding and habitat destruction; but this is here and now and much as it would be nice to go back to our agricultural society of the 18th century, we're here, and the deer (and foxes, coyotes,opossums and black bears) are here too, and we cannot comfortably co-exist as things are. So, starvation or a controlled hunt?
