Meet Pudding.

You can't really see how thin she is, she is skeletal, but bright and has eaten overnight and this morning. She has been out of her cage and had a wee wander and a cuddle. She is in a cage because she is still very unsteady and we want her to conserve energy until she is a bit stronger.

Pudding looks to be a lovely girl, albeit a skinny one. I do hope that she settles in and starts feeling secure and has a warm comfortable tummy very soon.

Oh poor little one, she does look so thin and scruffy; I know she'll come on in leaps and bounds with your care.I'm so looking forward to an "after" pic down the road a bit!

Oh my! Bless her skinny, bedraggled wee socks She is lovely, but I bet she is stunning once she has plumped out a bit

Thanks for the compliment, but she is just a very loving cat- my sister said she was very affectionate for the short time she had her.
Its a shame, but it is horrible stroking her- she is so angular and her hair is all matted. She is so thin though I don't want to start grooming because it may be sore for her. She is eating, not ravenously but regularly, I guess her stomach is so small only a tiny amount will fill it. She likes the same recipe as Spice- tin of food blended with some cat milk so she can lap it up. I've never used the blender attachment on my food processor so much before, but as long as it works for them!

Farthing, you are doing a brilliant job and Pudding has found a wonderful home.
I bet she will turn out a real stunner with your TLC.

Re: Meet Pudding.

Thanks for the lovely photo, she is indeed thin but looks very relaxed and she has certainly landed on her four feet. As has been said, it will be lovely to see her after pics a bit farther down the line when she has plumped out! Jan x
