Great photographs! When cats are .. err .... being cats, they can be so funny and it very difficult not to laugh. However, one must never laugh at a cat (or at least so they can see you are laughing )

Those are great photos of Max!!

We have a few boxes that are old and torn up,
but since our cats love them so much that we have to just keep taping them up...

Cats are so silly

Re: Baskets of Fun

I love pics of cats, especially when they adopt such eccentric poses. Because professionally,l I treat humans, some people think I am an authority on cats (I'm not!! I am a novice in comparison to many on this forum ), but what experience has suggested to me is that cats do have a sense of fun and can be 'drama queens' (and kings). I am convnced that they adopt certain 'cute' poses when they learn that such behaviour results in lavish praise from humans. Or am I mistaken?

Oh I do so agree with you there, James; they are quick to pick up that it will elicit cooing and attention! Cats are more clever than many people realize who don't live in close proximity with them.

HK, what a great series of shots!

Maxiesmum, love the Max pics! May I add a pic of Sultan who loved this basket although he was outgrowing it?

Re: Baskets of Fun

I agree that some cats respond to their peoples' attention if they do something cute, like sit in small boxes. Others seem to choose to be more aloof and disdain their humans' approval. Of course they are all individuals but it's often the ones that play up to us that we find most endearing!
