Bathing the dog

Well I decided to bath the dogs, it was a nice day not cold at all and I got the water in the buckets they get bathed outside (no problem then wet dog dashing around) then I towel dry them and in they do.
Anyhow I bathed Tess (she is much much better now and I was stands as still as Sal while I bath her)

Normaly I lift their chins up so water does not roll into their eyes.

Then did Sal no problem but do you know as I was pouring the water on I said "head up Sal" and she lifted her head up and back on her own and all through the bath she did it every time I asked her too. Good girl.

Oh they don't need to be held or even have a collar on they just stand still while I bath them.

They're tough enough - and they were starting to whiff a bit and couldn't have that for Christmas Could have been worse I might have broken the ice off the local lake and thrown them in.

Awww Sal and Tess, good girls

Luna cowers in the corner of the shower.. But give her a puddle, sea or beach and she's in the water in no time

Re: Bathing the dog

I don't let them in the warm Fran I make them stand in front of the freezer with the door open Then put ice cubes in their water

No seriously they have a nice dry off with a towel warmed in the tumble drier then a nice warm drink of tea and onto the sofa with nicce warm blankets to have a nice warm up.

I know; I know; they aren't spoilt though, just loved .
