Pavarotti!!!

On the way into work this morning I was listening to Classic FM (I need to be kept calm and quiet in the mornings ) when ol' Batesey announced the revised Pavarotti farewell 'gigs' . . . Chatsworth House, Warwick Castle and wait for it . . . Madejski Football Stadium in lil ol Reading (there's class for ya) !!!!

Well I nearly crashed my car in surprise and have been nagging hubby all day about going. Finally he relented and I have just ordered the tickets online. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Bearing in mind the cost of the tickets I think this will have to be our Christmas pressie to each other combined .

Lucky you Lola. I think Pavarotti really is one of the best tenors of all time. Would love to hear him perform live - hope you have a great time. Warwick Castle is quite near us, now perhaps if I talk to hubby very nicely..........

Re: Pavarotti!!!

Y'know with his connections with Ystedfodd (sp . . . sorry), I would have thought Millennium Stadium would have been a natural choice and all those in Bristol/S.Wales would be going and I'D be envious
