To smoke or not to smoke...

Ok DM's Chinese zodiac thread has prompted this..it seems there are a few smoking members on the forum, (and they all seem to be fire element of the Chinese zodiac ) so thought we would have a poll...as we enjoy them so much

I do enjoy smoking, that's why giving up would be very difficult for me. Hubby smokes but not very many at all...

Re: To smoke or not to smoke...

I set myself a date a month away to give up. When it arrived I just threw any ciggies I had left in the bin. The first 2-3 weeks were hard but after that wasn't so bad. About 4 years later my mum had her first stroke and the first thing I did was to go out and buy a packet of ciggies. I gave it up again about 6 months later and have never looked back. Even my hubby was impressed and he gave it up as well!!
