practice bedi tried to make a deep dish ferret bed. the fabric was just something in a free box down the road. i don't have a sewing machine so it's a little lumpy and the stitches look bad because i only had white thread. instead of using that flat foam for plushiness (which i can't afford to buy right now) i used stuffing out of an old pillow (just the cottonish type stuff). i figure it's my "practice bed" so hopefully there will be more to come that look progressively better. until i can get new supplies i think i'll just try to work on a bed for the senior kitties next. k, here's pix (ignore the annoying white stitching please). this all took me a few hours to make by hand.

That's brilliant! My mother is a retired seamstress; unfortunately I haven't inherited her talent as I can barely sew a button. So I'm in awe of the cushions, beds and snugs you are making for your ferrets and cats. Nice job Tink |
