Teddie not coping well

Need some serious advice here folks, on how to help Teddie accept Ranger better. As things stand she hates him!! No exageration He can't pass by her without hissing and spitting, she keeps weeing on his beds and I have no idea what to do. I have been using the feliway and tried her on rescue remedy this week to no avail. Broxi is fine with him and Cooper has come round a lot, still a few hisses but has certainly accepted him being here. Any ideas on how else to help her even just accept him being here, I'm not looking for best buddies, but the weeing on his bed can't go on (and she doesn't have cystitis atm, I've been watching her, and it's just his bed as if she's marking it )

Hi Alex, sorry to hear about Teddies distress at Rangers arrival. Have you been scent swapping at all? Maybe try, if you can to confine Ranger to one or two rooms and allow teddie free range of the rest. Swap bedding from Teddie to Ranger and vice versa. Using a soft cloth, rub teddie with it and then rub Ranger with it and vice versa again.
Have you considered using Zylkene to help alleviate some of Teddies stress also. Maybe a combination of the feliway, rr and zylkene will be more effective.
These things may take time but I have everything crossed that it will all settle down soon. xxx

I've not heard of zylkene Elaine, where do I get it from, is it prescription?

We have a stair gate on the kitchen and on the stairs, Ranger is confined to downstairs whilst the cats have free roam elsewhere. I did scent swapping at the beginning, but I'll give it a go again. It'll have to settle down at some point lol, 'cause neither of them are going anywhere

good article Elaine, doing a lot of what it recommends already but a few other things to take under consideration

Just remembered about this article too, thought it might help. I forgot to mention that B vitamins are often lost through times of stress, so may also be worth adding some B vits to Teddies food and or water. Think the article also mentions that.
