Paws for food

The oldest cat I have (he's a year and a half old) eats his food with his paw. He's not cuddly at all either, whereas the little fella is very loving.

That's cute - do you remember the adverts on TV with Arthur the cat who did just that?

Re: Paws for food

It gets to be a bit messy when they insist on drinking water this way too! Had a Maine Coon foster who did just that, water all over the kitchen, lol.

Both Ours Eats Regular Way, They Now And Again Take It Out Of The Bowl And Onto The Floor To Eat, But I Think Thats Because Some Bits Maybe Too Big To Eat When Ive Cut Up Chicken Or Fish!!

Re: Paws for food

My 2 take their food out of their saucers now and then, I find the odd kibble where it shouldn't be (or is that the mice...!) but it's usually the wet food that gets this treatment. Hermes saucers too, they're just not good enough at offsetting a cat's natural instinct to eat off the floor!
