Re: This weekend

Going to Stratford on Avon in the caravan. I've got to go into work on Sat & Sun, but we're staying very near to work, so that will work out well. We're taking Bluebell this time.

Re: This weekend

Well, I work Friday nights, so will spend Sat morning in bed. But if the weather is nice I will be out in the garden and hopefully we can have a barbecue. To be honest anything to escape the football. Sorry to be a killjoy and I know it is only once every 4 years, but I hate the World Cup and really fed up with all the hype.

Smudgley, I love Stratford, especially when it is sunny - lucky you, hope you have a good time.

Last week-end we visited the Birmingham 'back to backs' 4 houses that have been preserved and now owned by the National Trust, it was fascinating and a real insight into life back then. Central Birmingham is only about 40 minutes drive from us. Kazz or Smudgley, (or anyone else) have you visited them? Sorry Kazz, didn't mean to invade your thread, I did mention this on the Daily thread for Sunday, but it was late when I posted and maybe it wasn't read.

Re: This weekend

Invade away, I haven't visited them but I mean to odd how you never visit things on your own doorstep isn't it. I;ve been to the Black Country Museum - and enjoyed that have you been?

As you are so close to Brum (I keep forgetting ) are you going to the flower show at the NEC next weekend?
