Never seen so many police before!

arghhhhhhhhhhhh
i just wrote this out and pressed post and it vanished!!!!

anyway...............

just over an hour ago we were in the aprk playing footy when suddenly saw laods of people walking around, on bikes and in cars. then we started seeing loads of police.

Ryans friend came over and told us a little five year old girl was missing.
So naturally we helped to search for her.

We saw about 12 police cars and a helicopter. after bout an hour searching the girl was found a few roads away curled up asleep under a car.

dread to think waht would have happened if the car ahd pulled off.
anyway, the mum says " get indoors you little ****, walking off" and walks in. Not a word of thanks to the police or anyone who was helping look, and there about twenty neighbours looking. Gartitude for you eh!

the main thing is the little girl was found, but how ungratefull of the mother.

Several comments were made, the mother is knwon for not being a very nice person anyway.
in those circumstance though we all pull together and help.

Re: Never seen so many police before!

she will get a visit from social services as the police will notify them.
i found a toddler the other day at the strawberry fair, i gave her back to her mum who sort of thanked me, but she was more releived to get her baby back.
sweet little thing she was about 14 mths old.

I would of been in such a panic if my child had disappeared - even at the age they are now - how could the women be so blase about it all??

Hope she is investigated.

She deserves to be reported. Ungrateful, uncaring cow (sorry . . . )

Re: Never seen so many police before!

I can understnad people "forgetting" to thank tohers if theyve been REALLY distressed at loosing thier kids and are caught up int he emotions of being reunited, but to just blazenly walk off, not a word of thanks to anybody is beyond belief really.

I hope the police do tell social services. How on earth could you leave a five year old out the front of your house on thier own and notice theyd gone missing for up to an hour later?
obviously doesnt care too much. but thank goodness the little girl is ok.

I get in panick if elliot is out of my sight for more than about five seconds lol

Re: Never seen so many police before!

what the poilce do is check with social services to see if the family is known to them, tell them whats happened and then they get a visit.
