daily thread - monday 05 june

Good morning all

not as bright and cheery here today as it was yesterday.
I dont really mind though.
NOtmuch planned for today, quick trip ito town ( all of 15minute walk) to pop to bank,
sort some cheques out.

Just sat here and saw a kid from ryans school go past, got me into panick mode as ryan is still in bed. So I dashed off to get the school diary out.
It a teacher training day!!
PHEW!

off to cubs with ryan tongiht, games club after school tomorrow
and then karate after that!

roll on weds, it's a quiet day here!

Hope you all have a lovely day

Morning. The 'Smum' household awoke to little squeaks at 4.30am. Yawn.
Beautiful day again - kitten playing and weeding for me!

Re: daily thread - monday 05 june

Weather delightful here this morning; but I'm back in the office. Why couldn't 1/2 term week have been this glorious instead of the wall-to-wall rain we had?

Potty training took off with a woosh on Friday and by Sat. no.2s were being done in the potty without prompting I really thought he wasn't going to get it at all. Dominik went to nursery in his new 'Thomas' pants today; 1st time out of the house and nappy-free. We'll see how many shorts/pants have been got through by the end of the day

Have a busy week ahead - but could just crawl back into bed as bump is making it difficult to sleep at the moment

Re: daily thread - monday 05 june

it has brightened up here now!

good news on the potty training yola. Elliot is coming in leaps and bounds. Dry most nights, am going to get some of those large pampers care mats for bed today and put him in pants.

He wears his footy kit for hours without any accidents, other clothes sometimes have accidents. Not been brave enough to take him outside the house without a nappy on yet though. He also has thomas pants, postman pat pants and some army pants. He wears them around the house, we go through up to 6 pairs a day lol!

Good luck on the potty training Yola and CJ.

Yola if bump is stopping you sleeping try a pillow under it if you sleep on your side. I found that worked for me. It was the physio that told me to do that for my back. May be worth a try.
