Re: Introducing Casper

What a lovely wee poppet! As you said, kittens are either full speed ahead or dead in the water... no in between stage. Hope he'll settle in well with Paddy and Murphy....

Re: Introducing Casper

He is lovely - I like your expression 'zoomies'- a perfect description of kitten madness.

Re: Introducing Casper

Is he into biting your feet or anything? Mine were terrors when they were kittens... your feet were not safe in bed at nighttime! Every movement was a joy for them to attack!.... ouch!

Re: Introducing Casper

Yes feet are a favourite of his.

One of our previous cats (Bramble) was a demon when it came to foot attacks. Not something I hope to go through again lol

Re: Introducing Casper

Feet are apparently "bed mice" to many kittens! And need to be caught and killed, of course ..... thankfully most seem to outgrow it as they get older!

Re: Introducing Casper

Well we just introduced Murphy to Casper properly.

Murphy just stood there without much of a care whilst Casper twitched and stalked. Casper eventually made a zippy run towards him and BOSH - a big left hook to the nose.

Perhaps we'll try again tomorrow.

They'll adjust. Murphy's just showing who's the alpha cat.
