Re: Weight watchers

Haven't any experience of WW or anything like.

Have a bit of advice though. Instead of your salads, use soup as a slimming aid for the nasty weather. Scientists ( ) have discovered that people who start their main meal with a bowl of soup take between 10% and 20% fewer calories in the main course. That's good, isn't it?

Make your own soup, so you know what's in it and that it's not full of either cream etc or salt. You can make a soup out of practically any veg, and it's really no bother. Use low-salt vegetable stock cubes for the liquid element.

Good luck

Re: Weight watchers

Hiya - never done WW (I'm a tight wad), but I too did Atkins 18 months ago after my son was born (I ate like a pig during the pregnancy and couldnt' shift the weight later) and the weight just fell off. I watch my weight and eat sensibly (mostly) but I'm back on a balanced diet now and *touch wood* keeping it under control.

The soup thing sounds brilliant - I wish I had time to make home made soup!

Instead of soup, would Guinness work?
