Indy Overload

Just been cleaning out Indy's tank. Eva imediately jumped into the space where the tank sits to watch both me and hamster so got the camera out. Removed one or two things from Indy's tank, re-arranged things and gave her a parsley bell which she is currently stripping at the moment and making a food mound in a corner, bless her.
Ok here goes so dont fall asleep

Re: Indy Overload

Isn't she lovely!!! I had golden hamsters as a child, the only pet we were allowed other than goldfish They were so lovely and snuggly - only one was a biter!

Just wanted to check, is that cotton wool inside that cardboard roll? Only we used that a bit for bedding - and other, similar stuff - and one of the hamsters got an internal blockage and turned up it's toes as a result.

Used shredded paper after that.

Re: Indy Overload

Thankyou, I do love to watch her busy herself around the tank especially after I have cleaned it and replaced everything.

You still get those little hamster cages, I personally think if an animal is to be housed then it should have as much room and activities as poss'. We had a guy leave the pet shop in a strop yesterday coz I refused to sell him a rat coz he wanted to keep it in a bloody hamster cage
