Oli's afternoon at the beach ...

Just as the title says, this afternoon Oli went to the beach!!

Hugh & I took him and he had so much fun. I think I can say he loved it...

Pictures of the beach...

Oli taking a walk and exploring bushes ...

Sunbathing...

and then when it got too hot - shading in his carry bag ...

Footprint in the sand!!!

HOME and too tired to move!!!

Hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures

Tanya

Wow i've never known a cat go to the beach before either but he certainly looks like he had a good time and enjoyed himself.

Has he been before or was this his first time

Looks as if Oli had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the beach....the biggest sandbox in the world! I've never seen a cat at the beach either! Are you very near a beach, and was the water warm enough yet to swim?

Re: Oli's afternoon at the beach ...

It was Oli's first time to the beach! I think we are going to take him again because he loved it! (oh, and he has only slept and eat since we got back!! I have never known him so quiet!! )

At uni (where we are at the moment) we are about a five minute drive from the beach. We thought it would be much easier to drive, rather than try and make Oli walk the distance! We didnt go near the water, so I couldnt say if it was warm enough to swin in.

Saying that, about this time last year we went swimming in the sea! It was great until I saw a jelly fish.
