It has been bred into them, for the show bench. The 'old fashioned' Siamese did not have extreme ears and the triangular shaped face. A lot of fans of the traditional Siams don't like the new look, modern Siamese. I suppose it comes down to personal preference...

He is just GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

What a lovely little face he has and those ears are amazing!! I love him.
