windy saturday

Morning everyone,

Really windy and damp here out on our morning walk in the woods.

Sending hugs to all poorly pets and hoping they are feeling better.

We are going out for a while today to look at wall paper for my bedroom and hall way. They are both in need of updating. Hopefully Harris doesnt tear the wallpaper like he has done already in the hall which is another reason we have to replace it!

Hope you all have a nice day and th weather is nice where you are

Re: windy saturday

Afternoon Pamela and all to follow. Quite windy here too.

Hope you get what you want wallpaper wise. I took all the paper off in our house so I just paint when it's needed. Also I'm pretty sure that it would have been scratched to bits by now.

Hope all folk and furry folk are well and enjoying the day.

I have finished my cross stitch commission for Joe and Emma's wedding. Quite pleased with it even though I say so myself. We'll swop pics on the other thread Angie! Just need to finish their present now. It's quite complicated and takes a lot of concentration.

Re: windy saturday

Afternoon Pamela and FM. Windy here too, but bright and sunny and nicely warm. Fingers crossed it lasts for tomorrow - temperature is just right, not too hot for lots of dogs at the show, but still sunny. Wind could drop off a wee bit so the gazebos don't blow away! OH has made 3 batches of scones this morning - cheese; plain and fruit. Just car loading of stuff that can be loaded, leave the perishables until the morning. I'll just be responsible for taking the dogs in my car so long as everything fits in his - he doesn't want the hassle of having to take the dog crates out.

I'm looking forward to seeing your cross stitch commission, FM. What are you making for their present? I am quite pleased with the gilding I did yesterday, I've burnished it this morning and it looks good (could be better but I have to keep reminding myself I am a novice at gilding!) I shall be painting the flower design this afternoon.

Have a good day folks. Cuddles to all furry friends from me, with extra scritches for poorly ones.
