New Years tip

I learned this years ago...go through your checkbook now and write '08 on the first dozen checks. By the time they're used up you'll have remembered it's '08 !!

Re: New Years tip

I've never used checks in stores, and switched from mail order to online shopping since I got the computer, but I do use them to pay most of the monthly bills: utility, credit cards, etc. I don't do online banking, may be sort of old-fogyish about that, I don't feel really comfortable with it. Although I do have quite a few bills automatically debited from one of my credit cards.......
