ouch

i was making the boys soup today and they don't like their soup chunky so i put some in the blender to liquify...
stupid me it was still boiling hot and the lid was not secured like i thought and boiling hot liquid shot all over.
i don't know how bad it is but most of it is from my collarbone down to my chest and it is bright red right now..the only thing i had in the house is sunburn reliever with lidocaine so i applied that.
it hurts for my neckelace to lay right now it is that sensitive..
i am such an idiot. this really hurts.
i screamed like the devil when it happened and my OH said it was the most terrifying noise he ever heard. i am still a bit teary eyed and trying to distract myself with the computer. i don't think it's bad enough to go to the doctor but i'm watching it to see if it peels or blisters.
i could care less about the soup right now.
my hands are shaky still.

Re: ouch

Ouch Tink, that must be so so painful.

Make sure you leave the damaged area exposed to the air snd leave the area uncovered or apply a very loose cotton garment over the top.

Plenty of hugs and painkillers on their to you xxx
