Good idea to move her at night CM - that may keep her broody. Not sure, but it seems reasonable.

Re: Hot sunny Tuesday

Is there a mileage counter on the treadmill? When I was running I used to do 2 - 3 miles a night. 6 days.

Re: Hot sunny Tuesday

Part of that yesterday was walking though. Ran for 35 mins (20 mins continiously - walked and then ran again for another 15 mins and then walked again) Did about 55 mins in total I think.

No idea if it'll knock her off. As far as I can make out (reading, internet and chatting to others) if she is really broody then it should be ok. I have her sitting on 4 dummy eggs just now. Plan is to move her on to the dummy eggs in the ark when it is dark (may have to escape from the quiz for 10 mins ) . Let her settle - hopefully - and then replace the dummy eggs with the real thing.

I really cannot keep her where she is as the others are forming a 'bully queue' to try and lay in the same box.

Fingers crossed.
